AZ Affordable Rentals is committed to making our website and our housing services usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Fair housing means fair access — to our listings, our application, and our staff.

The standard we build to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. In practice that means our pages are designed to work with keyboards and screen readers, to keep a visible focus indicator, to maintain readable color contrast, to respect reduced-motion settings, and to remain usable when text is enlarged up to 400%.

Requesting a reasonable accommodation

If you need a reasonable accommodation or modification at any point — searching for a home, completing an application, touring a property, during your tenancy, or communicating with us — contact us and we will work with you. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis to make a request, and requesting an accommodation will never count against your application.

Reporting a barrier

If you run into a page, form, or document you cannot use, please tell us what you were trying to do and what got in the way — including the page address and the assistive technology or browser you were using, if you know it. We investigate every report and will tell you what we find and what we intend to fix.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-time project. We test new pages with automated tools and by keyboard before they go live, and we re-check the site as it changes. Some older documents and third-party tools may not yet meet the same standard; if you encounter one, contact us and we will provide the information in an accessible format.
