AZ Affordable Rentals was founded in 2014 in Greater Phoenix, in a corner of the rental market most management companies avoid: affordable housing. We saw families with housing vouchers being treated as second-class applicants, and owners being told that voucher tenants meant lower standards. We believed the opposite — that the level of professionalism a family receives should never depend on their income, and that well-managed affordable housing is one of the best investments in Arizona.

A decade later, that belief is our track record. Voucher-assisted homes make up more than half of our portfolio, our residents stay for years rather than lease terms, and our owners get institutional-grade reporting on properties other managers wouldn't touch. We are affordable-housing specialists — Section 8, HCV, VASH, AHCCCS, EHV — and we manage market-rate homes to the exact same standard.

Today, after years of managing our own and our partners' properties, we're opening our management services to the public. Same team, same standards, more Arizona families in well-run homes.
